Westlake Boys High School offers an outstanding learning environment for approximately 2,500 teenage boys on the North Shore of Auckland. We believe that by providing a range of opportunities for our students, inside and outside of the classroom, we will help them discover their passion and fulfil their potential.

Immigration

New Zealand or Australian citizens or permanent residents seeking positions in New Zealand do not require work or residence permits. All other immigrant teachers require permits.

Overseas Qualifications

Applicants must be NZ registered, fully conversant with the NZ Curriculum and have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

Training and working with us

Westlake Boys High School are one of 12 schools involved in the new School Based Training, teacher internship programme. This is a new initiative suited towards recent graduates or people wanting to change their career. You'll spend the year completing coursework remotely with the University of Waikato while you work on-site at one of New Zealand's top high schools.
