Health and Safety Requirements

• Staff and students who are sick, self-isolating or who have been advised by health authorities to remain home while they wait for their COVID-19 test results, must stay at home.

• Staff are to observe students on arrival checking for symptoms and ask those presenting as unwell to report to the Health Centre. The Health Centre will call parents/ caregivers and arrange for the student to go home.

• Wash and dry hands regularly, cough into elbow and don’t touch your face

• Social distancing must be maintained at all times. A minimum of at least 1 m between adults is recommended and 2 m distance if you do not know the person.

• The school canteen will be closed so all students will need to bring their own food to school.

Junior exams are planned for Monday 29 November and Tuesday 30 November.

• All schools need to capture the vaccination status for Covid-19. This information will be used by local Public Health authorities to support and aid their risk assessment and will inform decisions about whether the school will need to close, and the duration of the closure.
