Tickets are now on sale for our popular Graduation Dinner where we celebrate students completing their final year of secondary education at Westlake Boys High School.
The event provides an opportunity to farewell departing students and to wish them well for their futures as Westlakers. The evening’s proceedings will include a formal graduation ceremony, a valedictory address, an entertaining speaker and opportunities for photographs. We are delighted that Duncan Garner, a former Westlake student and New Zealand radio and television host, will be our guest speaker.
A full buffet meal will be served and a cash bar will be available. Due to liquor licensing requirements, students must be 18 years or over and produce valid ID in order to purchase an alcoholic drink. We will be following the Ministry of Health guidelines on intoxication, which means any person who is intoxicated will not be served alcohol and may be required to leave the premises.
The dress code is semi-formal i.e. collared long-sleeve shirts and dress trousers are expected, jackets and ties are optional, jeans, casual shirts and sports shoes are not appropriate.
Tickets are available online via the Tickets tab on the school website https://nz.patronbase.com/_Westlake/Productions or from the Uniform Shop until Friday 24th November (unless sold out prior). All boys need to be accompanied by at least ONE parent/guardian, unless special permission has been granted by the Headmaster. Due to the high demand on tickets there will be a limit of three per family. We recommend that you purchase your tickets now to avoid disappointment.
