Westlake Boys High School Sport Programme:2010
There is an extensive list of sports available here at Westlake for your son to be involved in.
Summer Team Sports
The traditional team sports for summer are as follows:
Athletics, Cricket, Touch, Tennis, Water polo, Yachting, Rowing, Volleyball, Golf, Swimming
All of the above team sports have a Teacher in Charge.
-
This staff member is responsible for organising and registering teams. They also select and appoint staff/parents to coach/manage teams.
-
The school notices/assemblies and form periods are when information about all these sports is made available to students.

The above sports compete in North Harbour Auckland and N.Z. competitions.
-
The ASB College sport web site www.collegesport.co.nz

Has draws and venues for all these sports. Follow the links for each individual sport.
There are also a number of other summer sports for students to participate in. Again these specialist sports also have a teacher in charge:

-
All boys interested need to read and listen for the school notices. These are given at assemblies and form periods.

Again the above web site address has details of competition dates and venues.
-
School notices are placed on school notice boards in the student services centre and in form classes.
